Visit Detroit and Detroit Sports Commission needed a special-edition publication that would capture Detroit’s energy and welcome hundreds of thousands of fans for the 2024 NFL Draft. I created custom illustrations and shaped the visual voice of Detroit Draft City, a collectible newspaper that paired sports-driven storytelling with hometown flavor — from coney dogs to iconic landmarks — printed in signature Honolulu Blue and black. The piece stood out as a distinctive fan keepsake, celebrating the city’s culture while helping engage more than 700,000 visitors during the record-setting event.
